Description
The word quaich is derived from the Gaelic word “cuach” which means shallow cup or as we know it today, a drinking cup of friendship.
A quaich is generally made from metal or wood with two handles. Typically used for drinking whisky or spirits to symbolise friendship and hospitality.
Quiachs are often gifted on special occasions such as weddings and anniversaries, where they are often used in ceremonial toasts.
Presented in a gift box, a quaich makes for a wonderful sentimental gift.
